2012 MCLE Speakers Sought
If you have a MCLE you feel would be beneficial to ICAP, please let us know! We are setting up the speakers for 2012 and still have openings. Also, we would like to see if we can get some brown bag presentations set which will be free to anyone attending. Paralegal Legislation:
Are you familiar with the legislation defining the paralegal profession, education and professional requirements? Take a look at AB 1761 as codified in Business & Professions Code Section 6450 et seq.
ICAP Mission Statement:
To promote the paralegal profession in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties through the establishment of a network of professional paralegals to:
♦ Encourage greater utilization of paralegals within our legal communities.
♦ Promote continuing educational opportunities.
♦ Maintain a resource system for practicing and student paralegals.
♦ Build stronger relationships with the local Bar Associations.
♦ Maintain and promote National Association of Legal Assistants' paralegal standards and Codes of Ethics.
